Imgur user pleasequotemovies refused to believe his girlfriend when she told him that it was actually their cat to blame for missing kitchen objects. Determined to convince him, she decided to pick up the camera the next time their feline went on one of its missions.

After a while, pleasequotemovies received overwhelming hilarious photo evidence, and had to change his mind about their cat. Coping with the harsh reality, he uploaded everything online and the story went viral. The internet jury voted the kitty to be guilty of illegal possesion of straws and other utensils, sentencing it to be labelled as a cat-thief.

We had a thieving kitty years ago. Every time I cleaned behind the games table, I would find her latest stash. It generally included a spoon or two, a roll of wire, a roll of tape, a couple of socks, various buttons and shoelaces (she knew how to unlace shoes), and once a rubber mallet. The mallet was a puzzler. It must have taken her HOURS to haul that thing off the sewing table and into her hiding spot.

Our cat used to clean out my flatmate's room during the day. He'd place her stuffed animals on my carpet and her underwear in the kitchen

My cat does this. Discovered a stash under the bed that had 16 socks, 4 hair toes, 5 hair clips, 6 pens, some random hard candies he had tried to get out of the wrapper and various other objects. Hoarder.

A missed opportunity by calling him Cat Thief instead of Cat Burglar!
