We Travelled 26.000Km In 4 Months From Romania To Mongolia With Our 6-Year-Old Sitting In A Sidecar
After our previous trips around Europe and to the Caucasus, we decided to try something else, so we traveled to Mongolia, on a four-month, 26.000kms trip in our sidecar motorcycle, through 12 countries.

laugh at me all you want but I am terrified of pandas, this is my worst nightmare. I legitimately have the most disgusted look on my face whilst my hand is covering half of my face and typing this comment.

They r stuffed animals /toys. Pandas are SO wiggly, there is NO WAY they would all be doing the exact same thing in the exact same direction. They are also solo creatures w/obvi exception of mothers and their young
Almost looks stuffed toys scattered on the ground. I hope they belong to animal rehabilitation center!

This was truly the trip of a lifetime to an area we seldom get to see. And you've given an incredible gift to your son. Thank you for sharing your wonderful pictures and please continue to enjoy traveling the world. (Somehow I don't think this is the only trip of its kind you're going to take.) Everyone talking about this being a much more valuable educational experience than text book, you are, in part, correct. However, it would be nice for people to stop denigrating formal education. It is very important that children have both. This young boy will have a great start having had such amazing experiences.

Well, he's six. I don't know how it's done in other parts of the world, but in the US, he would barely have been in school, and everything he would have learned, could have easily been taught by his parents. Once again, I don't know how schooling works elsewhere (I believe they are from Romania), but it is also quite possible that this trip was taken in the Spring and Summer months, BEFORE he would have been in school. Either way, it looks like the child gained a very rich education about the world during his trips.

I so enjoyed all of these pictures of this God forsaken land. Even so much of the landscape was barren I could still see beauty in the pictures. I'll bet that little boy was very tired by the time he got to campsite every night, actually I'll bet they all were exhausted by the end of the day. Fantastic!!
I bet he nodded off as and when he liked in the side car. I've even fallen asleep while riding pillion on long trips. Even when you want to stay awake to see the stunning scenery!
