If you’re a few inches taller or shorter than the average height, it seems that the world is conspiring against you. To highlight this universal truth, artist Sara Pocock has created a series of illustrations that focus on the annoying problems both giant and pixie girls face nearly every day.
Sara is no stranger to this kind of work, either. After a lifetime of drawing on living room walls and doodling on notebook paper, Sara decided to capitalize on her interest and moved to Minneapolis, where she earned her BFA in animation at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2006. Since then she has worked as an animator for Cartoon Network, BuzzFeed, and other notable names.

For short girl you forgot the sunblockers in the car that never cover the sun because you're too short
I have every single one of the short people problems and the car sun block problem. One time I was in a hotel in Germany and I literally saw only my forehead and up in the mirror. Sigh...
I always raise the seat up as high as it will go, so I can see out the windows "like other grownups" Lol
Lol! And tall girls whacking themselves in the nose moving the shade to the side
Oh god yes!
That's why I modified mine to block an extra inch lower...and I try to avoid driving west in the late afternoon...5'1" on a tall day!
YES to the tall girl problems. Though don't be embarrassed if you're taller than the guys! There's nothing wrong with that. A few things I would add: Jeans/pants are always either too short or waaaay too baggy. Being attacked by ceiling fans/low hanging lights. Guys' eyelines being right on boob level with you. Having trouble finding dress shoes that are big enough. Trying to squeeze into tiny restroom stalls.
My teenage son's girlfriend is about six inches taller than he is (and a good foot taller than me) he still is growing but I doubt he catches up to her. They don't care one bit! Love is Love
I'm not THAT tall (1m70, I don't know how tall this is in non-metric) but I have huge feet, just one size too big to find pretty girl shoes. As a result, my clothing style is not as feminine as it could or I would like it to be, because it doesn't make sense to wear a pretty dress if you have to wear sneakers !! :-(
I’m 100% with you on these points! How about putting on a dress only to find that the waistline is too high because it’s made for a short body frame... and it looks ridiculous. Or having a short man look at you, and then check your feet because he’s sure you must be wearing high heels.
I have only one problem with tall girls. My seats can't be shifted down and I feel bad that they have no space between the head and the ceiling. But that's my problem, not theirs :)
Agh! The seatbelt in the neck is a real pain!! I have to wrap a thin scarf around it to prevent nasty chaffing!
In my country it is recommended for the children and short people to sit on a safe pillow that don't slide easily on a car seat . That way the seat belt does not damage the throat in the car crash.
I bought one of those wrap-around, material covers for it. Also for the kids in the back. There's even a big cushion type, so the kids can fall asleep on it.
