I spend as much time as I can talking and teaching about sharks. They are so critical to the overall survival of our ocean eco systems and yet have such a fearsom reputation. As a marine photographer and diver I have had the opportunity to be up close and personal with them so often that I can tell you it is far easier to repel a shark than to photograph one!
They are not the terrifying creatures the media and movies make them out to be.
But they are necessary for our own survival!
