I made this using 35 wine bottles that I had the pleasure of emptying of their contents. Each bottle had to have its label removed, washed and sandblasted. The lamps are an extension of these interests, while also expressing my concern for the environment. An admiration for the Arts and Crafts movement, their reaction against an increasingly technological society, and their commitment to the marriage of form and function also informs my work.
