Picture this: you are crying alone on the forest floor. A lil' rabbit comes to comfort you, then a birdy lands on your hand, some squirrels and a baby Bambi appear. You are all now singing and dancing in harmony with wildlife. Ok, that’s a Disney movie scene, that doesn’t happen in real life, right? Wrong! Real-life Disney characters and princesses exist!
If you still don't believe us, Bored Panda has collected some of the most amazing photos of people being Disney Princesses. Maybe it's something magical and these people are carrying a secret 'princess' gene, maybe they are just carrying food. Either way, there must be something good about them if a wild, adorable animal decides to trust them.
P.S.: while these are extremely cute photos, please make sure you know what you're doing before interacting with wild animals. Feeding them with the wrong food, or making them feel too comfortable near people may end up harming them.

The amazing thing is how long the butterfly must have been there, long enough to pull out the phone and video it.
I had one sit with it's wings open on my forehead for like 3 to 5 minutes! Even other people took pictures of me, lol. But with a baby it is different. That's pretty cool! My niece of then 4 years old had one on her arm. But that one just stayed put because she was frozen. She wasn't really scared, but do not expect this and thus froze. It sat there for 2 to 3 minutes

I guess I'm the reverse, because they like to run into my head when on the back porch wearing a certain NY Giants hat, which is bright blue with red dots and a red brim. Probably got me around 10-15 times, usually while chasing each other.
I'm sorry for laughing, but this is the cutest damn thing I've ever heard.

I don't think this happened to a Disney princess. Pinocchio a couple of times, probably.
Help! Heeeeeeeelp!
In Japan, there are some shrines with "sacred deer." They are super tame, but will become very assertive a******s if you are feeding them snacks. One started biting me over some crackers...so my friend got a picture of my "Disney Princess moment"...me slapping a deer.

Found This Little Guy Hiding In My Daughters Shirt
What makes me smile about the entire blog is that these animals and birds to this day see humans as friends and not threats. May this be seen everywhere around us!
Buahahahaha! He looks soooo content too! Like "yea, I'm in shirt pocket, what of it?"
I love this! One time we went to one of those cheesy mall photo places (had a gift card) and all of sudden as My 4 yr old son was assuming one of the tragic poses assigned (left hand on right knee, head tilted slightly....) the photographer lost it and started screaming. Apparently my son snuck in a tiny lizard to be in his picture and he had been gently cradling it in his hands. The lizard seemed fine with it and my son opened his hands wide and the lizard crawled to his shoulder and just perched there. Best picture ever.

Thats a baby? How big do your squirrels grow? We have red squirrels here and even the adults are about half as big.
Oh, squirrels in the Southern states tend to be small to medium cat-sized. They scare the c**p out of me because they will attack you!

I would love to know where this photo was taken. Looks like such a beautiful spot.
Joffre Lakes in British Columbia.. but the place is invaded by instagrammers and people who basically have little to no respect for nature https://beside.media/dossier/spoils-of-nature-on-instagram/

Today I Became A Disney Princess
I think after being locked away in a tower for ages, that leg makes perfect sense
No, it wants help. Baby squirrels that have fallen out of a nest will do that. Ideally, you take them to a squirrel sanctuary because on their own they'll probably starve.

Good show, that is the way to help children not be afraid, worst that could happen is a little sting.
the only reason I wouldn't want a bee crawling on me is I'm too sensitive so the sensation would be super weird

I would be the random person giving them Peanut butter sandwiches, don't know why
This looks like base housing in Washington state. Deer routinely would walk through the yards and bite the heads of any unsuspecting flowers.
That looks suburban to me, and I live in the suburbs. There are a lot of deer here!!!
Load More Replies...Don't get me wrong, I love these pictures, they're really sweet, but I hope this doesn't persuade people to go about trying to make "wildlife friends" using food. In the end it isn't good for them, especially not deer. I once went camping as a kid, and we met an extremely friendly fox, who was clearly used to humans coming to his part of the forest. A couple days later, a gun shot was heard and his friendliness got him killed. A similar situation happened a few years previously where a herd of deer starved to death after humans stopped feeding them during the winter since no one was camping anymore. Under normal conditions, they'd have migrated to an area with more food. As wonderful as earth life is, in MOST cases (not all though), it's best to just admire from afar.
I am concerned with some of the pictures of people hand feeding wild deer. I can remember numerous strong warnings against this when I visited national parks. Some of them are perhaps explained by the circumstances (one, I think, shows a park in Japan with domestic deer). Still, just saying.
In addition to "A feed bear is a dead bear (fox/deer/etc.)" I had seeing small mammals that hibernate being feed. Most of what they are feed by humans have a high salt content which interferes with their hibernation and a very good chance they do not wake from hibernation ie they die. Please please please stop feeding wild animals
all i want is to be friends with some crows or ravens. is that so much to ask?
