One was definitely not amused at Buckingham Palace recently, but thanks to this hilarious GIF, the rest of us certainly are. Take a look below to see what we mean. Prince William might be almost 34, but he’s never too old for a telling off!
The brilliant moment was captured during the Troop the Colour Ceremony. The Royal Family were observing the ceremony from the balcony of Buckingham Palace when Prince William knelt down to speak to Prince George. But Queen Elizabeth, well accustomed to maintaining decorum in public (even when wearing a green screen), was quick to remind him of his amateur mistake, and seconds later the Prince was back on his feet – albeit looking rather sheepish – while little Prince George summed up the moment with a perfectly-timed facepalm.
The GIF was shared on Twitter by journalist Brandon McGinley. “Come for the queen scolding William, stay for the George facepalm,” he wrote.

why is this a big deal? just because she's the queen of England? she's also just a regular grandmother telling her 30 smthn year old grandson that it isn't proper to be kneeling down like that in public. haha it is kinda funny, so I do get it... but still. also, the GIF's got it wrong. she said "William, stand up!" not the other way around.

I Think its great to see William being a normal father and forgetting who is. Shows how grounded and down to earth he is.

I think it is commendable of William to kneel down to George's level to point out things :) but it is amusing that Queen Grandmum had to remind William to stand back up :)

I see nothing wrong with William bending down to share a moment with his son. He is being a father and showing his son a cool opportunity.

The RAF was doing a flyover for the Queen. It is disrespectful to not stand for that - which is why the Queen corrected him.

That was rude of her no matter who they are. You don't correct an adult for such a simple thing,especially if they are explaining something to their child. Also,not a face palm by George. A face palm is covering the eyes and below with the palm of your hand,not the back against the side of the forehead while looking upwards at something.... No connection with what happened at all.
