Wearing contacts in the second pic? Eyes do change in colour from small person to adult, but not quite so dramatically as this.

The most infuriating part in this is that - even assuming that you can force any religious practice on anyone - I have yet to see a clear proof that the hijab is obligatory. I don't wear it. I don't see why I should have to. I also always feel like a lot of Muslims focus on such things (hijabs, beards) to feel like they are better than others and then ignore everything that makes a person a good Muslim (and person). Lying, cheating, raping, k*****g, etc. somehow is not mentioned as much as not wearing a hijab! I know people who hide behind their hijabs (or in a way, their wife's hijab) to show their piety, but then proceed to destroy and hurt others without blinking an eye. Make it make sense.

I know little or nothing about the obligatory wearing of hijabs, or any other form of dress, or clothing, or headwear, or underwear for that matter, and I do think some of these were being a little liberal with the truth, but it's about time women stood up for themselves and said 'Don't you tell me what to wear/do/say. I'm a person, I have my rights' Alas, that is unlikely to happen. It might, eventually, in a century or so, or even in a few decades, but not tomorrow. The Suffragettes in the UK was founded in 1903, and it wasn't till 1918 that women over the age of 30 could vote, and even then they had to meet minimum property qualifications. Men, the press, hated women saying 'Oi, do you mind, we are people too, and we have rights as well' Some still don't like it.

So many beautiful women having to hide under these coverings because men tell them to. Wasn't it originally put into place so women couldn't tempt men? Men can't control themselves so let's cover up women so no one gets any wrong ideas? Forgive me if I'm wrong.

That's what they say. But one of the parts of the Quran that they cite to explain this starts off with "Men, avert your eyes". Not as in, don't look at women, but don't stare
