Hi there, I’m Lizzie and I’m an illustrator based in a small village in Warwickshire (UK) and I work with polymer clay and mixed media.
After much playing around and head-scratching (as polymer clay is a very different beast to air-dry clay), and inspired by my love of film, I began work on a series of ‘polymer posters’ – essentially a humorous take on alternative film posters. Creating my posters allows me to work in different ways, as sculpture, photography and digital skills all play an important part, and this way of working, I believe, helps to keep my work fresh and interesting.
Although they’re fairly simplistic in their design, each poster takes at least a few days to complete as it can take quite some time to get that one perfect image to work with – but I think it’s more than worth it in the end!
