Woman’s “Witch Hunt” To Get Delta Flight Attendant Fired Shut Down By Fellow Passengers
A woman sparked controversy after complaining about a group of Delta flight attendants who allegedly used their phones in the cabin.
On March 3, Angela Peery took to the Facebook group “The Official Delta Diamond Medallion Group” to call out the workers for their “safety violation” and “fireable offense.”
“It is against Delta Policy for any employee to have their personal phone in view while working, even reservation agents,” the woman’s rant began.

The woman claims the airline worker responded, “You are 100% correct, and we thank you for bringing this to our attention.”
Angela’s message continues: “FAs can only use their Sky Pro (Delta) device in flight and only in airplane mode and at certain times as directly related to safety.
“So, for those who said I should mind my own business or stop being a Karen, be aware. This is a safety violation and a fireable offense.
“Kind of a big deal. You should not see an FA using a personal device ever unless on crew rest.”
The traveler said the situation took place during a 75-minute flight from Atlanta to Arkansas.
At the end of her message, she clarified that she had sent the airline two other photos showing flight attendants using their phones in the span of two weeks.
“Three out of four flights, FAs on their devices.”
“This one is clever, hiding it behind the Delta device. ATL-LIT, while headed toward takeoff.”

Marc Drew, another member of the Facebook group, jumped to the defense of the flight attendant in the comments, writing, “Seriously ?! I usually don’t call out people by name but you calling out a FA [for] sitting down on their phone while taxiing is absolutely a crock of @#$%.”
Marc emphasized that flight attendants spend a lot of time away from their friends and families, so having even 5 minutes to text could greatly impact their days.
“Did you even consider FA’s might be messaging their family/loved ones saying they miss them, checking [in on] them, [saying they] can’t wait to see them,” he continued.
“The fact that you even posted this makes me see the worst in people at times.
“Did these FA’s not meet your needs or the needs of all the other passengers during the flight when they could actually perform their role?”
He ended his comment with a thank-you message to all flight attendants, highlighting the sacrifices they make to do their job.
“To any FA who sees this, thank you for all you do and the time you take away from your loved ones to make my flight experience a great one.”
Screenshots of the message exchange were later published on Reddit, with many users voicing their opinions about Angela’s complaints.

“What is wrong about going on a flight, minding your business and just enjoying the experience? There’s no need for this sh*t at all. I’m a simple man, give me a drink and a meal in my basic economy seat and I’m good, flight attendants put up with some real shi**y people,” someone wrote.
“Cannot recall one time when a flight attendant being on their phone disrupted the trip,” another person commented.
A third individual gave Angela a pretty specific label, saying, “That’s not just any Karen; that’s Final Boss Karen. FA should’ve heard the music change as she was walking down the jetway.”
“It’s quite obvious that this person has a problem with Delta because of something else that happened between her and Delta that didn’t turn out in her favor,” a separate Redditor speculated.
Bored Panda has contacted Angela Peery and Delta for comment.

It's amazing how much misinformation there is about phones on planes. A phone is not going to interfere with the plane's avionics. The plane is not going to crash because someone used their phone. It has to do with how they interact with cell sites on the ground. At worst, this is an airline employee violating the airline's rules. Stop calling it a safety issue.
To her it's a safety issue if they aren't, apparently, waiting on her sorry a**e every five seconds. Spare me from these people.
Load More Replies...If some people don't like the service at a restaurant, they just get up and go out the door. This babe should adopt that practice on planes.
I fly rather frequently and see them texting while sitting down when they're supposed to. I'm not bothered one bit because they still continue to do their jobs. This woman just wanted to complain.
Probably demamds people to stand in checkouts and et cetera?
Load More Replies...She just ruined some FA's life for absolutely no reason. Safety issues by @$$
And she only ruined her life because she can. This article just makes me want to dislike Peery not the FA
Load More Replies...I think she needs to ask herself why this is such a tremendous problem for her while it's a massive nothingburger for others. FAs don't get paid for a lot of their job and are the customer-facing representatives who have to deal directly without poorly behaved customers. If a few moments on their phone gives them some brief peace, let them have it and mind your own business. The plane isn't going to fall out of the sky because an FA is on their phone.
All the c**p that FA's have to put up with on airplanes and THIS ultimate Karen has a problem with this??? She could have been reading a downloaded book, aircraft manual, or just staring at a photo! This b****h doesn't even know if the phone was in aircraft mode! Safety my a**. She's just a mean human being.
I sincerely hope she is not in need of an analgesic on a future flight. This cow now has the Mark of Cain and will probably never be afforded anything beyond the most basic customer service, and rightly so, IMO. A friend of mine from years ago used to use the expression "spit at and miss, $hit at and hit" and it pretty much sums this situation up. She must have a major complex to do this kind of nonsense and post it on SM where the whole world becomes aware of just who and what she is. There is/was no skin off her (oversized) nose whatsoever, but she chose to take photos of these folks and publish them. SMH, that woman is a mess.
Was thinking you just earned a BP Follow my friend then discovered I'm a followerer anyway 😊 Yay. Great comment and I'm gonna remember your 'Mark of Cain' words for people who can't resist trying to frig-up other people's lives.
Load More Replies...Has "Karen" Peery ever sent a text to a friend or family member letting them know that the flight is on-time and the original plan for airport pickup or arrival at home, or meeting, or hospital is still on schedule. She deserves the wrath of those of us that find this behavior deplorable. Sometimes life "test" first, and teachs "after". OUCH... that one's gonna hurt!!! 🤷🏻♂️
