New Banksy Street Art In Palestine Reminds World That The Holidays Aren’t Happy For Everyone
English street artist Banksy is still active in the Palestinian Territories, and his latest politically-charged artwork to appear in the region has a unique holiday flair.
Long famed for the minimal, yet powerful murals he’s painted along the barrier separating Israel from the Palestinian-administered West Bank, the elusive graffiti extraordinaire has just revealed a new project in Bethlehem, a significant place in the context of Christmas, entitled The Alternativity. The first half of it, installed near the Milk Grotto Church, examines the meaning of ‘peace’ in the modern world. The second displays two angels attempting to pry their way through the ‘great wall.’
Just earlier this year, Banksy made a bold move in the same town by opening The Walled Off Hotel, an exposition/hostel hybrid designed to stand against the segregation between Israelis and Palestinians.

It's good that he's getting the message out there but I do wish the media paid more attention to what the actual Palestinians have to say about their experiance living behind those massive walls. That's not jab at BP

They did not build the wall just to inconvenience people. It was a response to ongoing violence. Probably, if the Palestinian parents stopped teaching their kids that the best thing in life is to stab a Jew, it could come down. stab-5a25c...aec236.jpg

Criticizing politicians and leaders for their words and actions is not anti semitism. If I say ethnic cleansing is wrong, or displaced refugees should not be bombed, why would that be anti-jew? Why? someone explain it like i'm 5. The Zionist council worked with the N**i party to establish themselves, Albert Einstein himself called zionists thugs and criminals. Once they received enough international footing they appealed to King Balfour of England to colonize Palestine after considering 4 other areas including Russia and Alaska. Israeli refugees were slowly moving to Palestine starting around 1932. There was peace and prosperity until Zionist leaders began clashing with Palestines government and planned a coup which is known as the 1948 Nakba. This is not racist propaganda or jihadist ideology. THIS. IS. THE. HISTORY!
