Hello, I too remember trying really hard to talk and I would stop and listen to what came out of my mouth and it certainly was not what I was trying to say. I tried so hard and also got frustrated so I would just stop and cry.

Glad I am not the only one who remembers that time of their life! There was a point where my family had to rush to the hospital I was left with my Aunts who got my dinner and then got me dressed to go with them to the hospital. Neither of them knew how Mom put my clothes away and they had EVERYTHING mixed up. Mom also matched socks, skirt, and top. Mary had blue tights, red skirt and yellow top. I was not wearing that. I kept trying to show her where they were. She had grabbed what was in the laundry basket. Luckily Aunt Barb at least realized I was tapping the dresser and started looking there. I was 3 1/2 years old. My Uncle Bill passed away that night that is how I am certain exactly how old I was. He lived with us and he softened helped get me ready in the mornings and he was the one who liked the matching colors. That is why I wouldn't let Mary dress me that way. I have a habit of always making sure things are at least a bit mismatched and wonder if that is why.

I remember one time walking with my grandfather and trying to tell him there's a lot of white ice on the ground and he kept misunderstanding me and it was so frustrating!

I remember being a toddler too. One of my earliest memories is of my mom trying to get me to take a nap. I yawned and she said, "See? You're tired!" And I told her it was leftover from last night. LOL

You take vacation closer to home and sometimes the vacation is a stay cation with little day trips near your area that way you can rest up and recharge a bit. Actually can be nice to look at the local museums and places tourists would go to in your area that you overlook most of the time!
