Here Are 30 Soviet Cartoon Characters This Russian Artist Redrew In His Style
7Kviews
Most of us probably feel a strong wave of nostalgia when we see something we used to watch as kids. The old cartoons that we re-watched a million times. Movies that we knew by heart and recreated with our friends in our backyards. Cartoons helped shape who we were and are today. They are a place of comfort and fond childhood memories.
People who grew up in post-Soviet countries and Eastern Europe will probably remember these Russian cartoons. Russian artist Evgeny Shvenk created this project called "What the heroes of Soviet cartoons look like in my head." The artist redraws these classic characters and shows us what they might look like in a more modern and realistic style. Hopefully, you will enjoy these images, even if it's the first time you're seeing these characters!

The author, please correct the article, as practically all these cartoons, with the exception of some, were not created in Russia, but in the Soviet Union. And so, in general, cool!
Now do Masha and The Bear!
I don't know any of these, but they are wonderfully well drawn
