50 Toys From The ’70s, ’80s And ’90s To Transport You Back To Your Childhood

Man, this takes me WAYYYY back. I had a bunch of these in the 70's and the 80's and loved them.

I could barely make squares. This is a masterpiece!

These are still around, bought one for my son a couple of years ago.

Best things ever!! I used to bounce them over my house!

i loved it so much!

I still have my bakelite one from the 50's/60's

I once had a Gameboy where I could play Pokemon. I was addicted so my parents seized it. Never saw my dear boy again.

And the Portland Stag! (Missing the red nose for its winter set up.)

I was so jealous of one of my friends, she had like every polly pocket set. I was super excited when I got one for Chrissie one year. I remember it was a shopping centre type theme with a moving elevator.

I loved this toy

I was so excited when I got a pack of these, trouble is that after a lil while you get bored of them so you start using them like normal textas lol.

I wanted one when I was a kid but they were too expensive for us. Now I can have it as an app and somehow I can't see the appeal anymore

My hair would always get stuck in these

I remember when we used to get tazos in chip packets. My aunty had 3 albums full of them.

I could never get them to go down stairs like they show on videos etc. The most I could do was get them tangled lol.

Ugly little things they are lol.

Pfft! Now, a Big Wheel, that's driving'!

Never understood how to actually play the game but did have a lot of fun just building it!

I had one, until I decided to cut him to see what was inside. Weird goo. Band-Aid din't work on the repair.

I loved mine! What happened to that thing???

I had this! And nobody to play with.

Oh god, I remember these monstrosities. What exactly were you supposed to do with them?

I used to spend hours on this and my mum was always amazed at my memory skills. 40 years later and I can barely remember what I did yesterday

These were a fairly regular Saturday treat for me. I must've spent so much pocket money on them!

That’s so sweet.

There was another kind before these--two larger, very hard acrylic (?) balls on strings. You started by bouncing them against one another and worked up to having them collide at both the top and bottom of the pattern. You could knock yourself out with those, and when they broke, shards flew everywhere. These were tame by comparison!

The anticipation of waiting for them to go off.

The old handy trainer

Ahh...this game stressed me OUT. Didn't stop me from obsessively playing with it though.

death to all ankles!

The original photo-copier

I hated those! They never really « rolled ». I just awkwardly walked in them.

I want one!

Oh I loved these. Way cooler then what you can get now in my opinion

i need one

I still have one and I love it and am keeping it forever. I have a tiny butterfly too ♥.

There are still versions of this

These little collectible figurines were awesome! I had so many. Even on this picture I remember the ones I had.

Anything with play doh was so much fun!!

Our very own slide show. These were great, especially when you could buy different viewer discs.

And when the super soakers that could hold more water and be worn as a backpack came out it was ON in my neighborhood during water fights

Woa.. wish i had one

'60s.

This is again in fashion! Who remembers also this terrible movie with Robin Williams "flabber"?

They were so beautiful! There were caleidoscopes you could insert them, it was mesmerising!

My sons found a way to connect this to the waterfountain in the backyard. They had so much fun with it

Those ones can stay in the 90s, they are terrifying ! :o

there's a hilarious flick on youtube i guess of a super-excited girl trying her sky dancer for the first time and the thing flies right into the burning fireplace lol

I did. Along with the shield, helmet and chest plate.

Omg, I forgot about these.

I'm a girl but I had totes and totes of these. I LOVED TMNT probably because the movies always came out on my birthday to include the newest one a couple years ago. I also had totes and totes of hotwheels. Now my son collects them. *sigh memories.

Back when nobody had collections of Amazon boxes.

My parents bought me a counterfeit cabbage patch doll as a child. The real dolls had a signature on the butt cheek and my brother signed mine with a green marker to make it look more authentic.

Ohhh, I had some of these a few years ago. Wonder what happened to em’……

This was the best!

My brother had one of these. One of the robot guys was always better than the other.

This is my childhood.

I had so many of these!

I remember having one of thoese, or something similar. It broke, and my mother told me it was going to the robot vet.. I never saw it again. :(

Use the fork luke!
