Vegan 16-Year-Old Keeps Surprising His Instagram Fans With His Stunning Desserts And Breakfasts (New Pics)
You might already know about Jose, a 16-year-old vegan teen, from the previous post on Bored Panda. He has almost 750k followers on Instagram because of his colorful and fun vegan food.
Jose's motto is "Life is too short to eat boring food" so it makes sense that boy creates many different colorful food designs. His main shareable meals are smoothies, pies, and popsicles, mostly from frozen fruit and coconut milk.

Everyone is saying "ooooh, yummy" but these are supposed to be "vegan." That means no cream, no milk and no ice cream. So what is it actually? And anyone who knows how food photography works, those lights are super hot, melting everything and turning those iced berries to mush in a hurry. I think they are pretty, but I highly doubt they are tasty and I'm almost positive they're at least partially made of not food.
Then you obviously have never eaten vegan foods! I have been vegan for over 6 years (haven't eaten meat since 1980). You would be pleasantly surprised just how awesome vegan foods taste! You can use frozen bananas in place of cow's milk, or cashew cream, coconut cream, etc. Have you never tried almond milk ice cream? Ben & Jerry's have awesome non-dairy flavors now, as do many other companies. What I can't understand, is WHY people continue to drink cow's milk after the age of being weaned? Humans are the ONLY species that continue to drink milk AFTER the age of being weaned, and are the ONLY species that willingly drinks the milk of another species! Stop listening to the lies of the dairy and meat industries. Cow's milk does NOT do a body good!

Photoshopped, this kid had been in articles a few times. In some of them it's really obvious that it's photoshopped
I don't see the point in spending so much energy and time photoshopping virtual food...I guess it only works because people believe it's real.

Exactly... The food looks really good... But I'm not sure I would eat something that has electric blues and galaxies in it... And even if it is edible, I doubt that it tastes good

this is part of the problem i have with vegan culture. if you want to tout the healthiness of your diet. you gotta stop overloading everything with sugar and fake processed foods! (as well as not try to force it onto others, like that 1 person did to that poor fox)

Cake and chocolate is a lot easier to find ingredients for and make beautiful when you use dairy products. Not using dairy is very difficult as vegan milk/egg substitues are more expensive and difficult to find~

I dunno, it feels like if you would eat it it would taste of fake fruit? Why does the berries look so plastic? Why unbaked pies? This isn´t really making me feel in awe, come with all natural vegan foods with natural colors and I will be impressed.

I mean these are absolutely beautiful but honestly I could never do it just cause I wouldn't want to wreck the design so I'd end up never eating it :( but they probably had to use a lot of food colouring for some of this so I'm not sure I'd want to eat all of these anyways
I'm a vegetarian (and close to being vegan actually) and these all look so delicious! If you didn't tell someone they were dairy- and egg-free, I bet they wouldn't even know!
what's with the berries? They look perfectly frosty, like they've been touched up. Like come on, I'd rather have something messy and yummy looking. These look like they would taste like soap because they look so similar to melted sculpted soap..... the only one I actually like is the first one.

I know people are saying that it is photoshopped and edited and everything, however, I think it is very pretty, and it made my day a little bit more colorful, which is something everyone needs. SO... thank you for sharing, even if it has been edited. It made my day a little bit more happy :)

Whatever the case, it's incredibly satisfying to look at and kudos to his talent. They don't look edible to me (how do you eat that many sweets) and I don't think they're constructable and delicious using the ingredients he used ...however, it's impressive he's so talented!

It matters, because people are being lied to. It's all fake and deceiving. He is not saying "Guys, look at those beautiful pictures I create in Photoshop", he is lying that he is a chef. By the way, earlier he published some images of real desserts, not being photoshopped, and those were outright stolen from real chefs. What does this inspire people to do? Be fake? Create fake stories? Lie about yourself? Steal others' work?

This very talented and artistic guy sure uses a Lot of food coloring and sugars though. A bit sad it’s almost only sweet things I see here. Looking forward to see the rest if he expands his field to nutricious meals. No trolling, there are some nutricious meals here but all the same sort of breakfast type with plant-based dairy and fruits. I just liked to see some artistic plates with the other foods he eats.
Recipes please ? Or maybe even just a few instructions on how to get those colours.?

Who cares. Vegan isn't healthy in my opinion. I have a cousin that was perfectly happy. Now vegan and suffering from depression. Doctor says lack of proper protein she refuses to believe that step mom was vegan suffered with extreme exhaustion also not enough protein. Eat meat people it's good for you.
