Karin Celestine lives in a small house in Monmouth, Wales.
In her garden there is a shed and in that shed is another world.
The world of Celestine and the Hare.
It is a world where weasels are ruled by King Norty, bears read stories to each other and water voles have allotment sheds.
The Circus Mice pass through in the summer, and the Lightbringers in the winter as do many other friends old and new.
It is a place that makes people smile and where kindness and mischief are the order of the day.
Karin Celestine is needle felt artist. She makes needle felted sculptures in her little Shed and sells them online. She also uses these to create little stop motion animations which she shares on social media and you tube just to make people smile.
She also writes and illustrates a series of children’s books featuring her tribe of creatures published by Graffeg .

Celestine and the Hare is a favorite page on facebook. I always look forward to seeing what shednanigans are brewing in her magical world. And the creatures never fail to bring a smile. Her books are charming and have a lesson for children of all ages, plus lots of love inside. And she gives a lot to her community by providing books for children, some of whom have never had one of their very own. Her group of chokliteers span the globe, and are all norty, mischievous and kind, just like King Norty, Emily, Baby Weasus, and Small.
