The Art Gallery at Rockefeller State Park Preserve invites visitors to explore Nature’s Neighbors, a new exhibition that honors the beauty and spirit of the animals that call the Northeast home. Through paintings, photography, and mixed media, nine talented artists celebrate the presence of wildlife that often lives just beyond view—quietly shaping the landscape and enriching our connection to the natural world.
The exhibit highlights a wide range of native animals, from graceful birds and forest-dwelling mammals to elusive nocturnal creatures. Each work reflects a deep appreciation for the animal’s unique character, as well as the environments they inhabit. Some pieces capture fleeting moments of stillness, while others portray the raw energy of movement or the quiet intimacy of a woodland scene.
Nature’s Neighbors is more than a collection of beautiful artwork—it’s a reminder that we share our world with a rich variety of wildlife. The exhibit encourages reflection on the roles these animals play in our ecosystems, and how their presence brings depth and wonder to everyday life.
The exhibition runs from July 19 through August 31, with a public reception on Sunday, July 27 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at 125 Phelps Way, Pleasantville, New York. All are welcome to experience this beautiful tribute to our wild companions. For exhibit details please visit, www.rockefellergallery.com.
