My Mom Created Beautiful Two-Colour Arm Warmers Of ‘Kauni’ Threads
Knitting is a hobby of my mother. She always knits something as gifts for us and always looks for something new: patterns, materials, etc. Recently she have been looking for an inspiration and bumped at a special kind of threads – so called ‘kauni’. What is special about them? Their amazing colours and high quality of wool! These treads are hand-painted and include different shades of colour in the one sleave, which allows to get a colourful item. She makes arm warmers of these threads and they just look great! However, there is an obstacle: the treads are so tight that it tooks up to 24 just to make one glove! That’s why she makes only one pair of every colour. The other problem is that my mom should consider the colour of thread in order to make two gloves at least similar. On the other hand, the gloves of different shades looks very unique – just look at the photos!
These gloves are warm, unique, and perfect for autumn, winter and spring! Beautiful birthday and Valentine’s gifts!
