I Use Pictures Of Actual Birds To Felt Brooches With Character

My name is Julia Kovaliova and I'm handicraft artist from Ukraine Lviv. I create small felt toys and funny accessories.

Some years ago I had the idea to combine needle felting and wire wrap technique. So I thought up my bird brooches. The first one was a simple wool bird. Then I began to use feathers, beads, lace and other decorations to make my brooches more pretty. And now I just choose any picture on my Pinterest board and make a bird like a photo. Each bird is born with its own character. Look, they all are different but very cute.
