This year, five cats decided to take Halloween seriously!
They dressed up as vampire kitties, ghost kitties, witch kitties, pumpkin head cats, and even pirate kitties. Each equipped with their own trick-or-treat bags, they had gone for an adventure to collect as many yummy treats as a cat could possibly imagine!
Soon they got out of the busy city and were surprised to find a neglected medieval castle, which they thought they had never seen before. The night was silent, you could hear only the croaking of the owl and the distant noise of the bats, but the starry sky was so beautiful and calming, that they didn’t notice the warning signs.
Only the lanterns, the moon, and stars gave some lights in the dark night. The old wood door was rather spooky, and the cat head knocker didn’t promise anything good, but the fluorescent road to the castle was magical and very inviting.
Who should be the first one to knock the door?
The pirate kitty with the wooden leg was never afraid of anything, so carefully he approached the door. What happened next? Who lived in this strange place? Will they receive some yummy treats to full their bags?
The end of the story depends only on your imagination!
The original painting is a commissioned artwork to one of my Collectors, made in the style of my colorful Cats of Karavella Collection. It is a mixed media painting on 100% cotton paper, mainly made by Ecoline brilliant watercolor ink, Gold Gouache, and permanent markers. The specialty of this artwork is that I also applied acrylic fluorescent paint to certain areas, so that the painting would glow in the dark, and reveal a magical night scene!
