My Cat Thinks She’s A Dog, Need To Go On Daily Walks And “Begs” To Play With A Pingpong Ball!!
We adopted NaoNao from the Toronto Humane Society 2 years ago. She was extremely intellectual!! She first mastered the art of “begging for food” (where she would stand on her hind legs and literally begs with her front legs) after being taught for only 2 times. Now she “begs” whenever she wants something to be done (eg. going out for a walk, food, etc).
She started going for regular walks daily since last summer and she was an instant “super star” in the neighbourhood. All the kids would follow her everywhere she goes, and they would call her a “dog-cat”! NaoNao would always have a fit if we didn’t let her walk outside for just one day.
We are in the process of teaching her “high 5” and rolling on the ground. Of course lots of food incentives need to be in place in order for her training to continue smoothly ;)
Her weakness is that whenever she sees any human’s mouth is moving, she thinks you are eating something delicious, and she starts BEGGING regardless of knowing exactly what it is….lol
We love her lots and she’s definitely the most precious little princess in our household!

Morning “catwalk”, perfect weather for a stroll in the neighbourhood
“I see box, I fit (not really), MY box!!”
Sometimes she’s too excited for her walkies that we have no time to put on her little booties~
She would wait on the stove top when OUR food it’s cooking… (she’s usually quickly taken down since we are afraid she would get burned, but where she lies is not hot)
