I wanted to let you all meet Cat. Her “real” name is Angel, but we affectionally know her as Cat. She’s the sweetest thing ever. She is 15 years old, and adopted us fourteen years ago from an animal shelter… she really did choose us.
I suffer from chronic back pain, and when it flares up, she knows, and cuddles up. (It doesn’t really help the back pain – don’t tell her! – but it makes it so much easier to deal with.)
She is very talkative, and communicates well when she wants food (“biscuits” as her food is known to her). We get a bop on the chin if we don’t respond immediately!
When she’s out in the evening, we whistle for her to come in for the night, and she always appears within a few minutes.
Aside from the above, she doesn’t do any special tricks or anything like that. She’s just my cat and she’s wonderful. I just wanted to show her off to you all.
