All the characters in my picture book “Monsters Go Night-Night” are based on monster drawings my son Elijah made when he was 4 and 5 years old. The designs are my Elijah fan art tribute.

When the book released a few years ago, to celebrate, I invited other artists to also re-imagine Elijah's original monster drawings in fan art. HUNDREDS of illustrations came in. I created a Twitter account, Instagram account, and hashtag #‎MonstersGo and have continued posting weekly monster prompts, now provided by all six of my kids.

There are currently around 1,250 pieces of MonstersGo artwork that have been created by artists from all over the world! Here are a few examples.
