This Dog Was Taken Away From Owners Who Kept Him In Horrible Conditions, Gets A Forever Home
After receiving a complaint about a mistreated animal, the volunteers of a small animal shelter “Naminukai” based in Vilnius, Lithuania rushed to the rescue. However, once they arrived, the volunteers were not prepared to witness the awful neglect the puppy had endured. The young shar-pei mixed breed dog was chained outside in freezing weather next to some trash bins.

She was surrounded by feces, trash, obviously malnourished, covered in bald spots and blind in one eye.
The owners of the dog didn’t even give her fresh water, instead, they put out a dirty bowl with frozen water
The sight of this mistreated animal horrified everyone, except the owners who felt indifferent to the dog and had no intentions of improving the conditions she was held in.
There was no way volunteers of the shelter could leave her there any longer, as chances of her surviving the winter were very slim. They took the dog with them and named her Barsa. This was the moment that changed Barsa’s life forever.
Barsa received all the care she needed to help her recover. The kindhearted employees of the local clinic offered to give Barsa eye surgery for free.
This touching gesture helped her to regain sight and enjoy her new life. It didn’t take long for this beautiful dog to find a forever home.

I just can't fathom why anyone abuses and abandons animals. If you don't want them, or can no longer take care for them, then take them to a shelter for goodness sake. You should have to get a special licence in order to have children and animals. A basic common sense test for starters wouldn't go amiss.

When I worked at a groom shop, we had a customer that brought in a beautiful American Bulldog named Bella. The customer explained to me how he saw her for a solid week, chained to a tree, emaciated, no food, no water, in 90+ degree weather and hardly any shade. He finally decided enough was enough and cut the dog free and loaded it into his truck. The owner came out and started yelling at him that he was stealing their dog. He said "I'll tell you what. You call the police, I'll wait right here for them, and we'll see who gets in the most trouble. Or you can let me have her and I will take care of her." The owner shut up and went back in the house. She's the sweetest little dog with the energy of a puppy and a heart of gold.
I'm glad Bella found a proper home with a loving owner. She would surely have died in those conditions.

It always works me up to see a doggo in a condition like this, and I am beyond glad it found a nice home and recovered. But it is not fair to wish death and illness on the evil people who did this to the sweet dog. It would make us no different to them. Humans are animals too after all, even if some of us are disgustingly cruel and heartless. I know I`m going to get a lot of down-votes right now, but I had to say this. And I wish lots of pats, treats, and love to this brave doggie! :)
Oh and by the way, can anyone tell me if Ollie the missing dog is found? Yes, yes i know i shouldn`t be asking about Ollie when this article is about Barsa, but im just so worried. Sorry again.

Ugh this made me tear up, thinking about that poor puppy. So glad it had a happy ending.
I'm not crying. Nopenopenopenopenope. This dog is honestly so beautiful and cute. I can't understand why anyone could mistreat such a sweet baby. I'm always so surprised when a mistreated pup like this can still love and trust humans even after all that has happened. Humans don't deserve dogs. :'(

May you and your family die a slow painful death for that comment, cuteness is not a factor for compassion and caring for all living creatures, every living animal should not be hungry, suffer or be neglected. I have seen up close what neglect does and it is heartbreaking. F**k you.
