My name is Daniel Nkansah, a young man in west Africa Ghana. Born on September 6 , 1993 in kwahu Dan in the Eastern region of Ghana . I am chocolate in complexion and I like singing , drawing, playing soccer , carving and finally sharing the gospel of Christ Jesus. The name of my parents are Alex Frimpong and Vida Afansa . They are from kwahu Obomeng and Twenedurase respectively. I have four siblings of which am the eldest. I started my education , first in the year 1996 in Extra "O" level preparatory school at Chorkor; stopped and continued in blessed Assurance preparatory school at Korle Gonno and then to Banaman Government school . I finally completed Junior High School in Happy Souls Academy at Abelekuma Newtown in the Greater Accra region. I furthered my education in Kinbu Senior High school from 2009 to 2012 of which I obtained a certificate as a wood work student , but I could not make it to college after high school and that ends my education level. About how I started carving, it was in 2002 a vacation day in Blessed Assurance preparatory school when school was about to close , I heard an inner voice like someone talking to me , pick up a piece of wood from the school canteen and a blade to carve out a coca cola bottle . I obey by doing that but ended up carving a human being's head and body . Right from there my carving skills kept on developing year after year with much practice. In 2020 after being inactive in carving for about 18 years, a friend of mine named Michael Boateng told me about how I can make money out of my carving and fortunately for me a Facebook friend Shawn Galvin sent me a picture of her with her daughter to carve for them so I gave it a try since I did tiny carvings around 2006 but never knew it was something important in the world of miniatures. The carving came out great and in sharing the work on Facebook people recommended a lot of miniature groups to me then I saw how valuable my work was and from there I finally decided to be a full time Miniaturist. I started making miniatures with my carving tools at first, but got to know about x-acto knife from various groups and it was much better then my previous tool. I also use super glue or CA glue and bass wood for my mini work. There is nothing actually I can't give it a try; Everything is possible for me .

Hey there, Pandas! My name is Diana (though some people call me Diane, Deanna, or even Liana sometimes), and I am an Artist Ventures Lead at Bored Panda. In my role, I work closely with artists and creators from all over the world, helping bring their work to a wider audience and highlighting the incredible things people create. A big part of what I do is connecting talented artists with the platform and making sure their projects, stories, and visuals get the recognition they deserve. Outside of work, you can usually find me brewing a nice cup of coffee, making pizza from scratch, or baking brownies. I also love traveling, going to concerts, and spending time with my cats (heavy on that one, because I’m definitely a cat mom).
