I Challenged Myself To Renovate This Mid-Century Cabinet. What Do You Think?
I found this old cabinet in our storage all covered in dust, so I decided to renovate it and give it a second life. I added some custom-made oak details and light colors to give it a nice modern look. What do you think about the result?

If your goal was to create something you could buy at Urban Outfitters, you've succeeded.
At the very least this has given me ideas on how to fix my expandable antique dinning table. I don't know who had the bright idea to use a varnish that was heat sensitive, but unfortunately even using hot plates for place mats, it has been damaged. The top isn't solid wood so I wasn't sure how to refinish it, but I think using wood filler might just do the trick. So thank you :)
That 'iconic classic worth lots of money" was made out of particle board! Piece of junk. Change my mind
Pro tip: Before you're going to upcycle furniture, do your research before you're destroying an iconic piece that should have been saved.
Afraid I feel a little like that, the piece was not renovated just remade. Honestly though it was only chipboard, was it really ruined?
