I like to bring to life the characters I think of in the form of humanoid soft jointed dolls.

I believe that there is no us and them there is only the collective nature of life and being. All living things are important vessels of energy! Making these creatures is a way for me share with others my curiosity that really stems from the ancient concepts of sympatheia and panpsychism. Does all life, perhaps all matter, have intrinsic value as well as an inherent conscious nature? I think the dolls might know! I’m waiting for them to tell me…

I think our sense of smell is so powerful and has the ability to transport us through time- and so I formulate a scent pouch for many of the dolls, it can be thought of as a very literal aura or essence.( Guardians of the Flower Kingdom: Scent pouches, essence of chaste tree berry, cinnamon, spearmint, rosemary, clove, and hibiscus.)
