When your profile on Tumblr says that “Modern Feminism, Progressivism, and Antifa are dangerous embarrassments,” you can pretty much guarantee that somebody, at some point, is going to call you out on it. And that’s exactly what happened.
“Aw. Aren’t you the cutest?” Wrote somebody anonymously. “Men who are scared of strong women are so adorable.” Clearly anticipating this kind of response, the author of the blog launched into a lengthy description about what, according to him, constitutes a “strong women.” It’s since been viewed over 200k times in just 14 hours, but the responses have been mixed. Some agree with him, but others don’t. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.

... I have great trouble with thoses kind edited conversations where we are asked to have an opinion about a discussion we know nothing about. I am feminist and i am reaaaally botherer by those feminazis because i want women having the same possibilies than men would have in the same situation. I want freedom of choice for me, my daughter, my siters, my cousins (girls)... just as i want it for my son, husband, cousins (boys)... I don't fight patriarcal model to be told by a woman that i must stop breasfeeding because that is female slavery (heard twice last month) or stuff like that. But, here, i have no idee why this anonymous post that. Maybe it was a troll, maybe (s)he's answering a mysoginist comment, maybe she's a femazi... I am not fortune teller so... no opinion here
Breastfeeding slavery... lol. That's the dumbest thing yet I've heard about breastfeeding (and the alternative is cow milk...? So that's... okay to those people or something? I mean if they're gonna bitch about slavery....). Yeah giving your kids what they need or what is best for them requires sacrifice, that's for sure. Sacrifice isn't the same as slavery. Slavery is unwilling and forced; it's to have your rights as a humanbeing violated. If you see breastfeeding as some kind of violation then so is pregnancy so why even have kids to begin with? Having kids either way means a lot of sacrifice, that doesn't stop after the breast. It means sacrificing time, money, sometimes dreams, to somebody else. If someone's unwilling to do that... well... don't have kids.
Good post! I have to comment on the breastfeeding, though, for I hear that for the first time and find it shocking. There are surely reasons not to breastfeed, but not breastfeeding while acknowledging that it is the best nutrition for YOUR baby, merely to make a point and criticise society? Some people seem to have odd priorities.
I have no trouble with women that don't want to breasfeed. The beguinnings are not easy and you don't always find support in the maternity, plus mothers who have to work often stop because drawing your milk is pretty akward in your office. Honestly, if your not confortable doing it, then it's no use. I have a friend who really meet her baby when she just stop struggling to breasfeed him and just switch to baby bottle. The important is to find your way to bond with your baby. My man does not breastfeed and he bonds just well with our kids ;p . But to the mother that told her daughter that I was feeding my baby like cow does because I did not respect myself, I answered that not only I was respecting myself but that I also taught my kids to respect people instead of being judgemental bit****. And to the girl that brought the slavery thing, she's been roast by our gest and i'm still laughing about her stupid comment.
Yet, I think her problem was more about her boyfriend being unable to stop himself to stare at my tits full of stretch marks than about women being oppresed by their milk
*slow clap*
and that isn't sexism.
But they do have the same opportunities in the same situation as men. If they fill60% of the job requirements, they shouldn't be hired…

You're not a feminist. Not even close.
She wants gender equality, which is the ultimate feminist goal. She doesn't approve of "feminists" harassing other women for their choices, especially when it disregards health, which is also ultimately far more appropriate, within the objective of feminism, than harassment. Lastly, she admits that she can't know the person's inner motivation, and she respect that. That's pretty smack in the middle of logical and reasonable feminism.
You say that like it's an insult. Like it should shame her into changing her ideas or something. Her ideas are her ideas and she has her reasons for them. If they don't fit your idea of feminism well whoopti-effing-do.
Feminism is about equality, nothing more, anything else ascribed to feminism is made up BS by people who do not understand the meaning of the word equality
While that is, in the end, absolutely true... 'equal' does not mean 'identical', making it infinitely complex. And that's still just on the gender basis, before including other factors like class, race, age, ability... In an utopia it would be more straightforward, in today's societies, we have a lot of things to change on all sides to make things actual equal.
But have you ever heard of feminist that degrade men? I believe in equality, but i am not a feminist because a lot of feminist treat men like garbage. Women cant to do ALL the things that men do and vice versa, but both genders are equally important. Like, if we believe in equality, then should men still give up their seats or open doors? Its confusing to me...
Have you ever heard of men that degrade women? Cause that's a MUCH bigger problem than radical feminists will ever be, cause women tend to die from it. You also completely misunderstand equality. It's not about being identical, and it never was. It's about opportunities, and there is a SEVERE discrepancy between what is available to women and men, and even more so when you factor in race, sexual orientation, age, ability, etc. No, men shouldn't give up their seats or open doors specifically for women if it's not necessary, and certainly not because of gender. You offer your seat and open doors for people with mobility issues, and/or if it's more practical for them (for example, carrying something large). If you love animals, will you refuse to call yourself an animal lover just because there are aggressive activists who are degrading everyone else?
Equality which you women already have. See, no more need for feminism until those rights are legally taken away from you, which they're not.
* Nazi occupied Poland. Not Nazi Poland.
Many people use this to shorten words (I know, people are lazy) no meaning disrespect to polish people. Have a nice day.
Laury M. thanks so much, you expressed exactly what I had in mind! Me. I do agree with this statement. It's even nicer for me personally because of the 'Polish Grandmother' part :D. Maybe what he says about catcalling is too extreme for me, but on the whole he makes a very good point. 'Nazi Poland' was the only mistake I found and wanted to clarify. Sergio- nice day to you too :)
Considering most Americans would be unable to point Poland on a map, whether the disrespect is meant or not, the effect stays the same: give the impression that Polish people, as a nation, agreed to the ideology, which is extremely offensive considering how much they suffered from it. The specification IS necessary, and denying it is actually a pretty important disrespect as well. The guy doesn't seem to have any trouble writing words at length, so he could AT LEAST be *that* accurate when actually praising his Polish grandmother.
People love to hunt for tiny flaws in statements they disagree with.
Why? You don't have any input on the situation? You corrected the guys grammar, just why?
She doesn't have to have an input on the situation if she doesn't want to. Her correction is valid, and not a "grammar" issue, but a historical one. The distinction is a nation participating in genocide, versus a nation that suffered from said genocide.
