[…] and my personal fascination with trees.

Once there was a girl who lived inside the tree of life:

For those who still remember how the season 4 (“The Children”) of Game of thrones ended, I present you Magdalena Korzeniewska (bugbug), an illustrator who is so fascinated with R.R Martin’s epic tale. Her visual perception of Winterfell is both lore and fairy. Magdalena perfectly captures this “medievalish” story with her “wooded” illustrations.

She herself posted some of her brilliant pictures on Bored Panda, so why should you read my introduction and my personal interpretation?

“Treebeard: You must understand, young Hobbit, it takes a long time to say anything in Old Entish. And we never say anything unless it is worth taking a long time to say.”

“Over hill and under tree
Through lands where never light has shined
By silver streams that run down to the Sea”
