308 Pics From ‘Project Van Life’ Instagram That Will Make You Wanna Quit Your Job And Travel The World
By committing to the van movement, people are making major life decisions. Quitting jobs. Cancelling leases. Emptying their parents' bank accounts. Everything in exchange for a nomadic #VanLife on four wheels. Documenting the pretty side of their daily adventures, Instagram account @project.vanlife is sharing their stories through dreamy photos.
Of course, like every life path, this one has it's ups and downs as well. What about that endless WIFI? Or that dishwasher? Putting your wanderlust in charge of your life has its toll. If you are willing, however, to endure a surprise breakdown of your mobile home hundreds of miles away from civilization in the pouring rain, maybe showering in a Starbucks bathroom isn't that bad either? Scroll down to meet #VanLife and upvote its most precious moments.

Welcome to Jellystone Park! The price of admission is one pic-a-nic basket. Lol
Please don't feed me! Once I see human campsites as a source of food, I'll maim someone while looking for a snack!
Remember Now Folks, ONLY YOU CAN PREVENT FOREST FIRES !! OH YEAH YOU GOT ANYTHING TO EAT ??
This Gives me an idea, we could hollow one of these babies out and rent it out like a Cabin ! Redwood Time Shares !! Lolol
I love that they left the tree there. But I bet a few of the 'mountain bike on the roof rack' people don't...
I like the composition of this image; the colors, the shadows. Excellent photography.
The Mountains look like they are painted !! But I have a cheap cell phone so I dunno. LoloL

Load More Replies...I think the Vehicle lights spoil the scene... But that's just me ! Lol
Looks great, but you can't drive like that. The first time you stop the car the monitor will drop and break. And it would be a lot of work to rearrange all the stuff before and after driving. So that's a van for a picture, but never one for the reality.
I used to see this bus at Two Day Town! And the owner came buy my house in it for a garage sale! It is very cool!!
The person who built this sports a beard, I guarantee it. Dan? Beard. Muhammed? Beard. Jennifer? Extra long beard.
Ironic to post that with a really easy looking road, which would mean that the destination is awful.
or, to lack of roads and evil hillbillies in the mountains that eat people. i mean horror 101 people.
Such as taking the mountain road to Barrow *hurk* Beautiful, but super scary...
Yeah, the background is a picture of clouds above Ho Chi Minh city, in Vietnam. It was taken by Kien Do, and the van and road was photoshopped in.
Load More Replies...he's not in bed. This is only for Instagram. So weird people do this
Load More Replies...man, the stink lines from their feet caused all the erosion huh?
i would go roaming around if i have an airstream or an rv. if not, forget it
Agreed. This is about as rough as I'd want to get. Nobody ever shows the bugs, heat, cold, grunginess, canned food or other downsides. Plus you've got to have some money coming from somewhere. Don't want to be negative but for most people, myself included, it's a better dream then a reality.
Load More Replies...She looks very comfy and cozy! That topper that she's laying on looks very comfy.
what kind of bus is this? i can't find this model anywhere :(
Load More Replies...That's just a cat look, kind of like some dogs look sad lol
Load More Replies...If you look closely you see that the wood is not on the fire, it is being built as a small reflective screen that also dries it. This is a common practice, especially in cold climates.
That's a ton of wood for one fire. Maybe he is going to stay there for a long time.
That will have been taken in their back garden!! no one camps like that!
So you are telling me they go travelling in that and all the furniture is loose? Nah!!!
At most, they make sure to always drive through well leveled roads and highways.

Load More Replies...I have an FJ Cruiser. I am going to look into putting a living space on the roof rack like that.
No Baltic countries, no Belarus and Ukraine, no United Germany and no disunited Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia

These are great photos, and I'm sure they had great experiences...but, to be honest, the only thing that would "inspire me to quit my job and hit the road" would be winning the lottery
It's quite cheap... we live in an rv and it's MUCH cheaper than a house or apartment. I'm still a minor so I live with my mom. she's retired so we are using the retirement fund and money from selling our house. I know alot of people that live on the road and they do all kinds of jobs. Such as, over the phone nurse, writer, blogger, artist, editor, anything in web design, furniture sales, military. It all depends on the person but there are ways! Even if just siting in one place working for 6 months then traveling for 6, but it's much much cheaper than one might think.
Load More Replies...meanwhile in a village somewhere, without power........................no one cares
Nothing about this makes me want to quit my job, sell my house, and take that show on the road. Really cool pics but it's just not for everyone.
