Cats are loving, loveable, and supremely confusing. Creative cat owners have created plenty of webcomics to try to come to terms with their bewildering behavior and how infuriating (and wonderful) it can be to live with them.
Much of their bizarre behavior (or, as we like to call it, 'cat logic') stems simply from a misunderstanding between species. Cats are not nearly as social as us, so many of their behaviors that we understand to be social or asocial are done for entirely different reasons. Rubbing up against someone, for example, is more of a way for them to mark you as their territory than a show of affection!

All that annoying, but the minute they purr and cuddle beside you, you forget how annoyed you were..
Their antics are part of their charm, at least most of the time. Then when they curl up in your lap or on your shoulder, purring away...priceless.
Tho minimalist, it has the humor, human touch and graciousness...A promising Artist...
I always thought the licking was to tenderize you to "eat" you easier!
Load More Replies...The trick is knowing when the lick is turning into the bite and moving quickly. After 16 years with Abby, I'm pretty good at it.
Fleur would do that. She would bite you and then lick it better! Cheeky girl :)
The last one there is sooooo true. You call all these no kill places that take cats and they are ALWAYS full....never fails, never.
My county just lets them (house and colony cats) roam loose killing my robins. The shelter will NOT take cats

My Lulu does this! Nasty when you don't notice and step in it, lol!
I'm pretty sure my cat just thinks he's a human and tries to pick the glasses up.
Hilary made the best with the least...and left room for imagination...Congratulations...
This is why I have a ladder to my top bunk bed that does absolutely nothing to stop my cat
Aww, how sweet! He is trying to teach you how to dispatch your prey, while rendering it harmless to you.

Had my cat rip a whole bowl of cereal right out of my hands....and onto the couch...and floor! *sigh*
Sometimes cats don't give a c**p, but you can't tell me that Tara saving little four year old Jeremy was a coincidence.
I love this post. It reminds me of my black cat Shadow attacking my Ex-boyfriend because he was verbally abusing me. So she smacked him.
Give the cat a stroke for me. My cat if it sees someone new in the house it sits in front of them to make sure we are safe😻😻😻😻

Cats like to sleep in the sun. This cat woke up and the sun had moved, so he moved too.

If you're a dog person, then why did you click on something titled Funny Comics Reveal The Reality of Owning a CAT!! You may have your opinion on cats, but in my opinion you have to EARN a cats love and affection, and when you do earn it, the new relationship you have with your new friend, can be way better, and way more rewarding than having a dog. Because all you have to do to get a dog to love you is pet it once and it love you forever. I find having to earn trust and friendship rather than to have it given, is way more rewarding. But hey that's just me.
