I Released An Entire Book With 31 Illustrations That Includes Life Lessons From 2020
Being a dad to two tiny humans during 2020 has been super stressful in so many ways so I decided to create a daily illustration of inspirational life lessons I’ve learned this year to pass on to my kids to remind them of what’s really important for our future. Now it’s become an entire book that I’m giving away as a free download and hoping those who partake will also make a donation to CALM4Kids, a nonprofit here in Santa Barbara that helps kids who’ve been through trauma.

I have to do this since I have anxiety (don't know from what; it just showed up and reappears from time to time).
There is a trash pile that is the size of Texas right now. Luckily people are cleaning it up.
I love to have some time spent with my dog without any other people, just us two
That would be getting Covid but I think this illustration means to overcome your fears
When I fell very sad and depressed, I cry with my dog and he makes me feel happy and comfortable
Enjoy the present moment is so true, especially during 2020. I love the dog and the 2 cats.
don't focus on the bad things that happened, just the happiness in the present moment
Load More Replies...Honestly, sometimes you have to just breath through it. I know a lot of people are suffering right now, and there is this new idea of "how are you improving yourself" or "what are you learning" or "how are you making the most of..." I remember when my mom was dying my therapist was telling me I needed to cherish the time we had. It was the most horrific thing I have ever gone through and I have no desire to remember it. However, what I do have is the knowledge that I made her as comfortable and at peace as I could. Sometimes you just have to keep moving and see the present as temporary.

I have trouble from this. I deal with my emotions better by myself rather than with other people, but sometimes it becomes too much. I am not that social and am shy so I don't really feel comfortable talking to people.
There's a Bob Marley album! I love Bob Marley, especially when I'm just laying down and chilling.
My sister and I laughed so hard every day that our stomachs would hurt so bad from laughing, when I was younger. Laughter is a medicine, you know (telling you from experience)
Yes. That's 100% me. I love animals and I try to help, feed or watch them
That way you will never be disappointed or surprised, you will be prepared
Where’s the “Don’t vote for people who have a fuzzy orange animal on their head?”
Well those were some smarmy cliches. I hope a publisher didn't spend a lot of money on it.
I love how you use one "colorful" color, white, grey, black. Kinda reminds me of Nathan Hale's Hazardous Tales.
Simple colour theme and message for the each one, but they are so beautiful. 🥰
