I'm hitting 10 years of motherhood by the end of this year and along the way, I made a lot of cartoons about this adventure.
Yes, the kids brought a lot of meaning, love and joy, but let's face it, the struggles are the funniest (for others at least). Here's a selection of my best cartoons about parenting.

I used to wake up my sister to go with me to the bathroom and had her wait outside in case any monsters came for me. I cannot believe I did to her and she was YOUNGER than me!!!
My sister is older than me and she always put me to turn off the light, because monsters may came out from corners when is dark and she didn't want to be hurt by them and also because little sisters has to do that, like some kind of duty!😂😂😂I remember that every night I was praying "please God, I want to grow up faster, to not need anymore to climb a chair for turninig off the light"...
Sure, Little Ones Are Cute!
Then There Are Traffic Lights, Amongst Other Things With Buttons...
Pedestrians usually have a button to push on the traffic light pole when they want to cross the street. Usually kids reaaaaaally want to push that button...
Load More Replies...LMAO!!!! Mine wants me to call her EVERY NAME but her own of she just simply refuses to respond.
Change this to the elevator button and you've painted a picture of my life.
What I Would Like To Say First...
omg it looks like the fourth kid pooped (or a bad case of diarrhoea) he even has no pants
They're not heroes. If you choose to have a child you agree to the responsibilities and the work it involves. Why is it being a hero?
Umm, not to spoil all the fun, but you do realize dads also go through pretty much all the stuff depicted here, right?
It really bothers me how people treat mothers compared to fathers. It's pathetic, honestly. Mom home with kids while dad is out "Oh you poor thing!" Dad home with kids while mom is out "Good! Mom probably needed a break." Yes, there was once a time many decades ago where mothers did all the child rearing and fathers did all the everything else... but how freaking long are people going to keep their heads 60years up their asses? Another 60 years? I certainly hope not!
Load More Replies...Thank you! And on that note I want to say that single dads are hero's too.
Dad's in general are heroes too :D Single or not.

We forget about that last frame....and those are the ones that will stay in your children's finest memories of growing up with you... And that last frame will happen in your kids' homes when they have kids of their own - because they know - that is what parents do.
Emails And Unfairness
It's because usually the father is the strict one that children are more afraid of. This is soon to be gone with the decay of family roles and modern equalization between the parents.
Even If You Have Some Time To Yourself
each day i have for myself... finnaly when i have time i take it to do chores i can't do when everyone is around
Like cleaning the bathroom and such? Jay! ;)
Load More Replies...My mom just sleeps. She once slept through Saturday. Dad got us takeout for every meal
There is never a moment that I know what to do with my free time! Usually chores I do not get to do otherwise, ugh.
Strollers
That Happens
Her breast is engorged and leaking milk. To save people from having to stare at this photo wondering what a belly button volcano has to do with sleeping through the night.
Omg thank you I was staring at this and wondering about the belly button volcano

We Nurse (And Nurse And Nurse)
Mom - the original pacifier 😉 And I miss this so much it almost hurts now that he has self weaned 💜
Load More Replies...And nom and nom and nom infinity until the world and your husband and parents are convinced THEY know what is best for you both which is that baby/toddler stopped nomming now as "he's too old" and "it's not normal" so you decide to cave into peer pressure and stop nomming for a whole hellish week despite both of you crawling up the walls as I have to say no to every request of nom noms until we can take no more of the heartache and separation and resume noms until we are both ready and when its natural for us to stop and I don't event remember being heartbroken as it was the last nom we'd ever have because it was our choice and no one else's and it was perfect. I miss noms but I don't as well. ❤️ Sorry for the rant! 😊
ohhhh this hilarious!! when she tries to pull him off and he wont let go!! my son was a BOOB-a-holic!! lmao!
Dads Are Cool Too
In the third panel, the dad's shirt kind of looks like a middle finger. At least, that was my first impression. Still not sure what it's really supposed to be.
A post about motherhood wouldn't be complete without reassuring others dads are awesome too! Other way around though isn't necessary!
Don't project your poor decisions onto all fathers. MY dad was amazing.

We Struggle With Diapers
Hell yeah!!! My youngest kid just stopped wearing diaper since last month! After strunggling with diapers for 8 years in total, now I'm free!!! I deserve expensive wine 😉🍷
I suggest you use the money you would spend on expensive wine to buy LOTS of cheap wine!
Load More Replies...Would love to see an alligator wearing a diaper!

Wacky Wednesday
My kids have crazy day but it's on Friday. About once a month. It's fun for them.
Naked Needy Butts
These are great! Though I don't really agree with the last one, that "nothing really" happens when you're late. Being late means you had somewhere to be at a specific time, like a meeting or an appointment, which means it involves other people and leaving them waiting shows disrespect. Of course there can be a reason, but saying "nothing happens" is wrong in this context, because you're wasting someone else's time that the person will never get back, and I think that is an important thing for kids to learn, too. Respect for other people and to value someone who gifts you their time.
Absolutely! Only because of that, I tend to get stressed every time we're leaving the house. Even though nobody cares if you drop them off 5 minutes late at daycare, I behave as if we're trying to catch a plane ;)
Load More Replies...Thanks for those cartoons, I can relate so much - the chaos, the exhaustion, the sleep deprivation, the endless amount of patience that is required. And at the same time all the small and big joys of being a parent. If I may suggest, there's one missing about bedtime, when you breastfeed, read and sing for hours on end until you fall asleep, while you baby and toddler move off into the play room.
Do you think someday we will be enlightened enough to realize that her title is sexist towards fathers? Men are parents too. Let's honor them, as well
Hello, my name is Tone, I'm working for a Wechat public account, which is mostly publish education articles for parents and teens. I am hoping that we can repost some of your paintings and share them to those parents, letting them feel much more love and learn more from other countries' education. Looking forward to hearing from you. My email address(tone@youthmba.com) is always online. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Best wishes, Tone
respect for mom and dad but in my family mom is strict and discipline while dad is the one who breaks all. haha
If you had seen the other ones you would see the artist gives dads their due also.
