Kids In Quarantine

This quarantine period during the COVID-19 pandemic in made me think.

There are many negative effects on our daily life but also it’s making us reflect

on the little pleasures and giving us time to concentrate more on ourselves.

But what I’m mostly pleased about is seeing how many kids are enjoying time with their parents.

So I thought to ask the little ones what they like the most about this quarantine.

I received sweet and hilarious answers so far and I’m going to illustrate them in this new little project:

Kids In Quarantine

Simona is a freelance illustrator based in London. Working with both digital and classic watercolour techniques, she likes to combine the two and develop a unique and fresh style. Her main inspirations are floral motifs and capturing the essence of music. Her passion for jazz and swing dance give a touch of vintage flavour to her colour palette and subjects. With a BA degree in Comics and Illustration from Italy (Bologna)and an MA degree in illustration from Kingston University, Simona is an excellent visual communicator and is able to condense feelings and emotions in just a few lines of drawing.

Vėjūnė is a community manager who helps artists all over the world introduce their artwork to Bored Panda readers and in that way, become more popular. Since she was always fascinated by the art world, she studied Culture Management and Cultural Policy at Vilnius Academy of Arts where she expanded her knowledge about it. Now she's using all this knowledge to showcase its beauty and help others dive into the fascinating world of art.
