Trying to summarise 9 months of global travel is definitely easier said than done. Since departing on our global trip, we have covered the equivalent of 40 000 miles, which is almost twice around the equator, visiting 4 continents, 12 countries and 40 cities – and we’re only getting started.

We quit our jobs and started traveling on March 2nd, we had no idea what would lie ahead. We have sailed between islands in the calm waters of the Peloponnese, fished for wild trout in Central Sweden, mushed with Huskies in the Arctic Circle, flown in Redbull helicopters in Austria, cycled through Copenhagen, snacked on Turkish delight in Istanbul, eaten fried crickets in Bangkok and taken selfies with koalas in Sydney.

The photos below, document our journey so far, measuring each kilometer traveled from our home town of Johannesburg, South Africa.
