Ever wondered what cities would look like if people went to town decorating their most iconic landmarks for the holiday season?

Well the creatives on DesignCrowd have been busy little elves adding tonnes of tinsel, fairy lights and fake snow to famous places around the world.

The Photoshop contest asked designers to decorate any well-known tourist hotspot with all things Christmassy.

Think Santa hats on the Statue of Liberty, candy canes on the White House, and ball balls aplenty on the Eiffel Tower.
