I Wanted To Capture My Fiancé During Our Pregnancy In My Night Sky Images, And I Finally Got The Chance During The Celestial Event Comet Neowise.
Astrophotography is my hobby and I’ve been doing it the last few years but never had the chance to capture my fiancé in my images under the night sky. Recently there was the astronomical event in July of 2020, Comet NEOWISE. You may of heard of it, seen it online, or even saw it by naked eye. Anyway I took the opportunity to go out and capture it and convinced my pregnant fiancé to join me in seeing an astronomical event that marks history. Dragging a woman in the 5th and half month of pregnancy out into the night from her warm comfy bed is not an easy thing. As many of you may know asking a pregnant woman to get out of bed is out of the question when ideally they need their evening time to relax. She made the effort which I am very proud of and thankful for, and these were the beautiful results. After we took the photos we had a cuddle and made our wish as we watched the comet. It was a perfect night and a historical event they we will never forget!

I really enjoyed creating this image and I had it planned for quite some time but originally the goal was with the milkyway but since we have this epic comet in the night sky I knew I had to do this and the timing was perfect.

COMET BABY
Today my fiancé and myself celebrate and announce our pregnancy! Today we had our big scan as we have just passed the half way mark recently into the pregnancy! Comet baby is moving and kicking around, and I dedicate this image to comet baby and to my amazing fiancé for doing an wonderful job as mummy to be! I love you both more then anything and can’t wait to meet you comet baby!
THE SACRIFICE
A long time ago it was a human practice to sacrifice animals and even humans to the gods. Fortunately we live in civilized times because if we were anything like our ancestors we would of been sacrificing for sure with such an astronomical event as the Comet Neowise ! Lola my dog did an amazing job of posing for this shot as if she’s begging me not to sacrifice her 😅🤣 This shot was unplanned as I had planned another shot that evening with milky way shots and I still had some left over images from comet neowise which I thought suited the foreground better.
COMET GIRL #2
Another image from the comet girl series I created last month during the time of Comet Neowise. I took this image of NEOWISE earlier in the evening as it was pointing towards the south west direction and captured comet girl @miaona a little just before between sunset and blue hour to get the silhouette effect. To the love of my life and mum of comet baby, thankyou for being a wonderful model and making these pictures happen! I love you @miaona ❤️💋☘️👩🏻☄️
