I Ventured Into 3 D Jelly Art After My Children Requested The Nicest Nut Free / Allergy Cake For Their Special Day.

I begins creating this cake for my children who have severe and life threatening allergies whom requested me to create the nicest nuts free cake for them to celebrate their special day.

I fall in loves with the creation of this cake and had lots of fun making them even though sometime it took me up till 8 hours to make them. The seaweed jelly cake is created via upside down method, using a syringe and some special tools by injecting the jelly onto the jelly clear canvas. The petals are crafted petal by petal to form the flowers / floral art and the 3rd and 4th layers of the jelly base are then cook to complete the whole cake before leaving them in the fridge for couple of hours before turning over to see the actual result of the final cake.

I took the initiative to learn this art after spending sometime admiring other 3 D jelly artist posting their cake art onto Facebook page. My daughter also saw this amazing cake and has always wanted something really special for her birthday. Without hesitation, I took up this 3D jelly art in May 2018 and since then I have never stopped making them. Since young age I have always wanted something to do with art. When I saw this amazing art, I can’t stopped admiring them and fallen in loves with this art, this is something that will give me pride and I am so passionate I found this amazing art cake.

It was a blessing as the hobby was created for my children who have allergies but friends has started asking me to make them for them and hence the small journey begins.

since Oct 2018 with the vision to continue creating this types of lovely art cake to those who suffered from severe allergy and can’t have the normal and usual birthday cake using seaweed jelly powder and mostly all natural colour as well as running workshop offering classes to those who have the same passion as me. The cake are infused with flavour likes rose, canola, mango, peach, apple etc.

Most importantly is the 3 d jelly cake is nice to see and nice to eat, and anyone with allergy can have them and will never missed out. The sweetness level of the cake can also be adjusted based on personal choice.

My children said they are the luckiest person now because their mom can make amazing cake for them anytime they want :)
