I Used Ballpoint Pens And Markers To Create These Dream World Illustrations Dealing With The Melancholic Beauty Of Solitude
I am a contemporary dancer and choreographer who got injured in fall 2013. On the second day of my sick leave I was already very frustrated and opened my cupboard to see what artistic tools I had – I found just a ballpoint pen and a pink marker. After a week I limped to the store to buy some more markers to add a little variety. During the next months I focused on translating my creative energy into pictures instead of movement. The results can be seen here: images of solitary people and creatures in dream-like settings.
Dreams flit away
At the end of the path
An open road
Going home
A farewell
In a rose garden
When no one sees

Share on FacebookThose are amazing work for ballpoint pen! My favorites are the hummingbirds in forest, and the knight by castle with a dragon cloud.
Thank you! Glad to hear that :) Although I meant to have the cloud as a horse in the castle picture. But it can be a dragon to someone else, I have nothing against different perspectives!
