Hi everyone, I’m Arina from Ukraine. 👋

Some people bake sourdough bread or do yoga to cope with stress. I decided to visualize myself as a post-apocalyptic Amazon.

But seriously, living here through 2025 taught me one massive lesson: it doesn’t matter if the walls are crumbling around you. What matters is that you are still standing in the center of the frame.

This self-portrait isn’t a cosplay or a movie set. It’s a visual metaphor for the Ukrainian spirit today. Because when your familiar world turns into concrete rubble, the only winning strategy is to become harder than the circumstances 💙💛

I didn’t want to capture myself as a victim. I wanted to stand there as a Creator who looks the future dead in the eye.
