I Said ‘This Is Not Instagram’ And I Put My Photos On Walls In Gypsy Neighborhood
I spent many years to take photos of street people. I want to show these people to street again. I didn’t want an exhibition on an art galery. I want to exhibit my works on street, show all those photographes to people who never seen a photo exhibition before in their life. I did choose a rare neighborhood where many gipsies live and they don’t have any idea what all these works about. We worked together with all those people who lives in there and I explained them meaning of the photographes. My intention was to interact with the street and leave a trace. Than I did it. Now, all those photos stays on the street like a part of the walls. I use the phares that ‘this is not instagram’. Because streets are real living place. Not just a social media platform that we see only two seconds in our free time. So long as the street allows, the photos will stay there.
