I have worked in the restaurant industry for many years and I see the waste that is produced on a daily basis. After years and years of seeing such garbage pile up I decided to use my artistic talents to take ‘one man’s trash’ and make it ‘another man’s treasure’.

Each week I go around to all the local bars and restaurants who save these materials for me. After a few months of collecting I separate the colours and begin my work.

All of these pieces are made using recycled wine corks, beer caps, aluminium soda cans, and old paper. There is no paint or methods of dying used in any of these pieces, they are all the natural wine stain colour out of the bottle.

I currently live in Shrewsbury NJ and am creating these pieces to help pay my way through the Savannah College of Art and Design. Over the summer I plan on making many more pieces!
