I Make Boxes Of Sunshine For People To Send During Quarantine, And I Can’t Keep Them In Stock

Just a few short weeks ago, I had an idea: a bright, vibrant care package jam-packed with positivity that people can send out to friends and loved ones for any occasion. I called them Boxes of Sunshine, and listed them on Etsy. I was blown away by the response.

COVID-19 has left us looking for new ways to connect, and send love and positivity to one another from afar. The Boxes of Sunshine enable people send sunshine to friends and loved ones during this time, even if they live on the opposite side of the country

The care packages are filled with all yellow items that are fun yet also high quality. Each box included a hand-poured tropical-scented soy candle, a small-batch natural artisan soap bar, a luxury satin scrunchie and vibrant (and waterproof!) vinyl stickers.

The boxes are so much fun to put together! I imagine the recipients opening up the boxes with big smiles on their faces.

Each box includes a handwritten note. Reading and writing out the notes has to be my favorite part. Beautiful love letters from long-distance boyfriends, hilarious (and a tad sassy) notes from one sister to another, notes of appreciation to hardworking healthcare workers- I’m always amazed by the many, many reasons why people send out care packages.
