I Made This Valentine’s Day Realistic Human Heart Cake And Here’s How

We don’t really celebrate St. Valentine’s Day but that doesn’t mean I’d let escape the opportunity for some crazy baking. My brain cake was such a success that I made it several times and this time I though it was time for some new organ.

I baked cinnamon sponge cake and added a lot of cherry marmalade in between the layers

I made some fleshy modeling chocolate and rolled it out

I made some veins on the heart

Then I covered the cake with the chocolate

I attached the pulmonary vein

And the left atrium

Here’s the aorta

And I finished with the right atrium

I painted the heart with “blood”

Cake done

The veins were filled with blood
