I Made This Lovely Portrait With All Of My Heart, And Here Is The Progress.

As most of you know from other posts, art is one of my greatest passions. Creating this piece made me very, very happy, and so I’d love to share it and maybe brighten some of your days too :)

I’m a bit of a perfectionist, so it took me several days of wandering around with charcoal smudged all over me to complete this one. I’m very glad that I documented the progress though, as it’s always fascinating to see a piece of art come to life. Even for me, who was there throughout the whole molding of character, it was pretty cool to look back.

Adding a bit more detail. At this point, I was so afraid of ruining it that I was tempted to leave it at this. Very glad I didn’t.
