I Made My Dad Do A Cake Smash For His 70th Birthday

A lot of photographers might say the adult birthday cake smash is “overplayed”… I say never! There are a lot of female adult cake smashes out there. But a 70-year-old man??? My dad actually asked to do one for his birthday but didn’t think I’d really make him go through with it. WRONG!!!

A little about my dad – his mom died from breast cancer when he was a teenager. He survived a tour of combat duty in Vietnam. He helped raise two daughters, including paying for their college education so they wouldn’t have to take out student loans. He FINALLY retired last year… so this was a great opportunity to celebrate the next stage of life, embrace the “Golden” years.
