I Made A Music Video That Consist Out Of Holiday Shots From More Than 100 People And It Became A Great Feelgood Compilation.

I’m a Dutch songwriter and I’m always looking for different ways to connect to my audience. This time I asked them to send me short, 10 second clips of their holidays. Stuff that either made them relax or escape from everyday life.

Phones are so good these days that I got a bunch of fantastic shots and the editing process was really pleasant. I love to travel myself and the clips didn’t disappoint: smiling faces, great landscapes and lots of cuteness. All the beautiful things this world has to offer. I tried to piece the video together by shots I made myself in the van that I rented with my family.

The song is in Dutch, my native language, but for those of you who are interested: I added English subtitles. Just enable them in the YouTube Player or read them in the description underneath the video.

I am, of course, not the first one to do something like this, but it was a fun project that resulted in a cool music video without a lot of budget. I also noticed something else: the shots are very similar in the sense that the same things seem to make us happy: animals, being outside, and spending our time with people that we love. It may sound obvious, but I tend to forget it myself sometimes. Enjoy the video!
