My son loves cars. Especially old, vintage ones from 20s. So I’ve made a wooden replica for him which actually works.

Here is step by step instruction of this project.

    I made this electric car for my son

    The frame is made from pine and oak

    Pine because it is light and flexible wood (to suppress the vibrations) and oak because it is hard and strong one.

    These are electronics and the engine – in fact, it’s not so hard to connect everything

    I’ve also applied several coats of paint

    Making upholstery from artificial leather

    Added some add ons (like bicycle lights, luggage and brake handle) and voilà!
