I Love Lake Superior And Walk On Her Shores And Swim In Her Waters Almost Everyday.
I live in a magically land of Boreal Forest and swim in the cold, clear waters of Lake Superior. I create mixed media photomontages utilizing original works of art and photography, digitally remixed to produce the final image. I allow the final image to speak itself into being, and consider my true work to be getting out of the way.

Bones of Lake Superior
Wings of An Ice Angel
Walking along the shores of Lake Superior is always a time of discovery. I discover new things about my inner nature and also new things about the greater natural world. One day in April, I discovered the broken wing of an Angel, carved from ice with the rays of the returning sun shining upon it.
The North Coast
Lake Superior is what I refer to as The North Coast of the U.S.A.
Her waters and rugged coast are infamous for sinking ships. Lake Superior is also the most beautiful body of water I have ever experienced.

Back to Earth
Abandoned homesteads dot the landscape of the Upper Pennisula; reminding us of our impermanence in this Northland, where nature reigns supreme.
It’s All about Community
This image is from the Copper Dog 150 dog sled event that takes place in the Keweenaw Pennisula of Michigan each year. The community makes this event one of the favorite sled dog events of all for mushers.
