My transition into motherhood was challenging, but…After giving birth to my first child, my beautiful son, I experienced postpartum depression. He was perfection, but I was in a hard place. With a lot of support and patience, I got through it.
When I picked up my camera, I felt human again, and it was my sacred, creative place. I am honored to photograph families from a space of compassion, understanding, and no judgments.
There has to be community within motherhood–it’s too much to bear on our own. I am here to show you how incredibly beautiful you are now, no matter how chaotic motherhood is.
